Girls Takeover Parliament Day

Jasiri Australia and the Commonwealth Youth Council have partnered to run Girls Takoever Parliament across the Pacific from October 2018 – October 2019.

Girls Takeover Parliament Day, Tonga was held on the 02 November 2018. A day where young women and girls were given the opportunity to voice their perspectives on national issues in a parliament setting.

Tonga Youth Leaders is honoured to have led this exciting and important initiative in our Kingdom which will run alongside Tonga’s first Youth Parliament hosted by the Fale Alea ‘O Tonga.
